DIY Plantation Shutters was founded in 2016 with a mission to make high-quality, custom plantation shutters accessible and easy to install for Australian homeowners. For nearly a decade, we have focused exclusively on DIY solutions, helping customers transform their homes with shutters made to suit their windows, rooms and budgets.

A Fresh Start: Factory Direct

On May 1, 2025, we took full control of operations and moved to a factory-direct model. This change allows us to manage every step of production and order fulfilment, helping us keep quality consistent and delivery timeframes clear for our customers.

Our Commitment to You

We acknowledge that between July 2024 and February 2025, some customers experienced delays or failures in order fulfilment, as well as slow or missing responses from customer service. We sincerely apologise for this period.

Since moving to a factory-direct operation, we have restructured our fulfilment and customer support processes. We have not seen the same pattern of unresolved fulfilment failures or missing customer-service responses that occurred during the previous period.

We searched a lot for a diy plantation shutter company that had a good website, was easy to order & well priced! Well let me tell you, these guys topped all the things and more. The process was easy and they had plenty of options but to top it off the price was great! When it came to delivery we had selected pick up....well because of covid we couldn't do that and within 10 seconds of telling them this they had organized shipping and was picked up that day. A few days later delivered! Bloody legends! After getting about 200 tools ready for the dreaded install, I opened the boxes and really didn't need much at all.
