Native measuring guide

Measure once, order with confidence

Use the same practical sequence as our PDF guide, now laid out as mobile-friendly web steps.

  1. Step 1

    Choose your mount

Inside mount sits within the reveal for a clean built-in look. Outside mount covers the opening and is more forgiving when the reveal is shallow or uneven.

  2. Step 2

    Measure width three times

Measure the top, middle and bottom of the opening in millimetres. Use the smallest width for inside mount.

  3. Step 3

    Measure height three times

Measure left, centre and right. Use the smallest height so the shutter clears the tightest point.

  4. Step 4

    Check the diagonals

Measure corner to corner both ways. If the numbers differ, note the opening as out of square and consider a Z frame or outside mount.

  5. Step 5

    Confirm clearance

Check handles, tiles, architraves and reveal depth before ordering. Heights over 1600mm generally require a divider rail.

  6. Step 6

    Send the smallest numbers

Do not deduct manufacturing clearance yourself. Submit exact measurements and our team will review them before production.
