Find shutter parts by repair problem
These checks help identify a possible replacement part. Similar-looking hardware can have different fittings; confirm measurements before choosing.
A louvre has fallen out or a pin has broken
Inspect the pin and the holes at each end of the blade. Compare the pin type, both end diameters, overall length and available hole depth.
A shutter blade is cracked or damaged
Compare the louvre width, end profile, notched edge, colour and required cut length. An 89 mm width alone does not establish compatibility.
A shutter panel will not stay closed
Check alignment and identify whether the magnet, strike plate or L plate is missing or damaged. Compare dimensions, screw positions and the single- or double-panel arrangement.
The louvres no longer move together
Check the tilt rod and its connections. Match the control system, rod shape, length and fixing positions before selecting a replacement rod or screws.
A hinge is damaged or the panel is loose
Inspect the hinge and fixings, then compare hinge style, size, screw-hole spacing and mounting direction. Loose fixings or alignment can also cause a panel to drop.
