No. Measure the opening accurately at three points and submit the exact millimetre measurements. Do not deduct clearance yourself; the required manufacturing clearance is applied for the selected mount during production.

Yes. After you submit your order, our Melbourne team checks your measurements, selected options and any window photos provided to flag obvious frame or layout risks before manufacturing begins.

Yes. SmartKit and EasyKit PVC shutters are waterproof and suitable for wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens and laundries.

Our custom PVC is SGS tested and certified VOC-free, with an odourless, wipe-clean surface suited to nurseries, children's bedrooms and family living spaces.

Our PVC shutters are formulated with UV stabilisers for Australian indoor conditions. EasyKit also uses internal aluminium reinforcement to support wider indoor spans.

Our Australian-made PVC ranges focus on a clean white finish to keep the specification and local production path straightforward. The overseas custom range offers broader colour, material and profile choices.

Warranty coverage varies by product format. EasyKit and SmartKit DIY kits include five-year cover for supplied PVC kit parts and specified finish defects, with one-year cover for components and hardware. EasyShutter and SmartShutter Pre-Assembled PVC shutters include ten-year materials and workmanship cover, five-year finish protection and one-year cover for components and hardware. Headline warranty periods can apply differently to structural material, paint, moving parts and assembly, so compare the written coverage rather than the largest number. Our Warranty Page explains the coverage periods and exclusions for each component.

Our Melbourne-made PVC shutters are custom-cut to your exact window measurements and dispatched within 10 business days after order confirmation, with Australia-wide delivery. If an exceptional issue may affect dispatch, we will contact you directly. Overseas custom shutters have a 10-12 week lead time.

After dispatch within Australia, estimated transit is 3–5 business days to VIC, NSW, SA and QLD, and 5–7 business days to WA. Allow approximately 10 business days for ACT, TAS, NT and remote areas in any state or territory. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Manufacturing, preparation and overseas lead times are separate. The carrier manages transport and delivery; arrival dates are not guaranteed. See the Delivery Policy for full details.

Freight is calculated at checkout from your delivery postcode, carton count and consignment weight. Custom shutters are packed in cartons cut to fit rather than one oversized box, so the carton count is higher than an ordinary parcel — a typical 1 m² two-panel EasyKit window ships as three cartons. That packing method is deliberate: it keeps heavy frames from rubbing against louvres in transit and keeps each carton compact enough to check and handle one part at a time.

A full refund can be provided if the custom shutters have not yet been sent to the Melbourne factory for cutting. Contact us as soon as possible after ordering if you need to request an adjustment or cancellation.
